We came a long way, but the code just isn’t ready for a public release at this time. We ran into quite a bit of issues with the Plazes API’s (missing features, non-documented features, etc.) and meanwhile we all had to learn a bit of AIR programming.

Good news: we’re pretty happy with how far we came and hope to have a public release out real soon. So, please stay tuned.

It’s called klinkr and hopefully will have the following features at the end of the weekend:

  • Show you were you are according to Plazes
  • Show you a list with your contacts, where they are and what they are doing
  • Show you a map with your contacts and other points of interest

Hopefully we’ll have some time to put in some extra features. Stay tuned!
